Arancia Malaspina
Arancia joined Phi!Number in 2019 as a Social Media Manager. Thanks to her passion for sailing and her attitude, she immediately began to collaborate on event and activity management, including clinics, seminars, training camps, and new initiatives. She soon became also the point person for organizing national and international championships.
Arancia’s sailing journey is unconventional. A sailor since she was a child, she only approached the world of racing at the age of eighteen, when she bought an abandoned 4000 (ex-Laser400) off a lawn. Her curiosity, determination, and passion for the sport led her to join high-level professional teams and compete in the most prestigious classes in the world, such as the TP52 in the 52Superseries and the RC44.
In the meantime, she graduated with a degree in Energy Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milano, definitively qualifying her as our resident sailing nerd. Her academic background allowed her to explore the world of data and numbers, whose importance has grown exponentially in recent years. She learned to use the main software on the market and she implemented her own codes.
