Phi!Number chose him for its winning, methodical, serious and loyal approach, as well as for his complete 360-degree experience from acrobatic dinghies (Contender, Australian 18ft Skiff etc.), to one-designs up to regattas on corrected time.
In addition to the successes in numerous offshore races, Giovanni is 7 times Italian Champion in different categories, European Contender Champion and stepped on 6 podiums in World or European Championships, achievements that brought him to attain the CONI Athletic Valour Medal.
In the past he worked at Elvstrom Sails sailmaker dealing with competitive projects and today he is the owner of Sail Addiction, a consulting firm in the world of racing sailing, nowadays he is mainly dedicated to offshore sailing in a reduced crew.
