This characteristic, combined with his experience in regatta and crew, make him an irreplaceable crew boss on the most important ORC and one-design boats, spanning between the role of tailer, navigator and installer of on-board instrumentation. In fact, B&G – a high-end international brand in the world of regatta – chose him as an ambassador to publicise the potential of their navigation systems.
With the strongest ORC crews he won 5 World Championships, 2 European and 2 ORC Italian Championships (of which 3 World and 2 European in Phi!Number teams). With Maurizio you choose a tranquil guy, of those you’d find in a quiet place with soft lights..which then becomes a disco.
